Privacy policy

StakeNerds is a free stats site for Stake slot players. You can use almost all of it without an account, and we keep as little about you as we can. This page lists everything we store.

Without an account

Our server keeps standard web logs (your IP address, the page you asked for, your browser) for a short time to keep the site running and fight abuse. Your browser also remembers a few choices on your own device, such as Stake.com or Stake.us, the collapsed sidebar and your analytics choice. Those never leave your device.

The bet archive analyser reads the file you drop in inside your browser. The file and its contents are never uploaded to us.

Analytics

If you allow it, Google Analytics counts visits so we can see which pages are useful. It loads in a mode that stores nothing until you say yes, and you can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. We do not use advertising cookies and we never sell data.

With an account

When you sign up we store:

• your email address and the display name you choose;
• a scrambled (hashed) password if you sign up with email, or, if you sign in with Google or Discord, the ID those services give us for your account. We never see your Google or Discord password;
• a sign-in cookie so you stay signed in;
• your favourite games, the studios you follow and your monthly budget;
• sessions you log in your journal, with any notes you write;
• game reviews you post. Your display name, score and comment are public on the review page.

Telegram alerts

If you link Telegram on the alerts page, we store your Telegram chat ID and which alerts you want, plus a 30-day record of the alerts we sent you so we never send one twice. Send /stop to the bot or unlink on the alerts page and the link is removed.

Data about Stake

Live player counts, big wins and bet feeds come from public Stake and Stake Engine data. We never collect or show the names of players. Kick streams are matched to games from their public title and channel name only.

Who else is involved

• Cloudflare delivers the site and protects it from attacks.
• Google and Discord handle sign-in, if you choose them.
• Google Analytics, only if you allow it.
• Telegram delivers alerts, if you link it.

Each of them has its own privacy policy. We share nothing else with anyone.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account at any time from Settings on your dashboard. That removes your account and everything tied to it: favourites, follows, journal, reviews and Telegram link. Games you put up for review stay listed for others to score, with nothing linking them to you.

Age

StakeNerds is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly keep data about anyone younger.
